goes shopping at Costco for her 87th
birthday - September 29,

Cable TV services have been ordered for LZ to be
installed February 27th. This will
cost about $50 per month. I set
this up so that the bill will come to
me. Other than that she will need
a few other things like sheets,
blankets, etc, for the new beds, and a
security light in her back yard. I
would also like to take her out to eat,
possibly every couple of months, to get
her out of the house, and enjoy a good
meal and brothers' company. |

I received several checks in the mail
from brothers today. Thanks to
Frank Adcock, Dan McKenzie, Roger Bonds,
and Barry Williams.

Yesterday I opened an account at
Independent bank for Elzora. To
minimize any problems we could have,
(tax problems) I opened the account in
my name only. And I listed Barry
Williams as "POD" This means that
if I got hit by a train, Barry could
withdraw the money from the account.
I had never heard about this POD
feature. It means "payable on
death".
I received several more checks in the mail today.

LZ's cable was installed this afternoon.
She has 75 new channels and she is
loving the extras and the superior
picture quality. She asked me to
thank all of the brothers for
everything!! |

Our goal is to be sure that she always
has everything she needs to enjoy life
to the fullest. She's earned it,
putting up with all of us for all those
years.

The first item on our agenda is to be
sure she always has her MTV,
so we need to ask brothers to give a few
dollars
a year
to cover her cable fees.
